לא הבטיחו לנו גן של ורדים? החורף הזה מסמן מגמה אופנתית אחרת. אלמנטים פרחוניים מככבים על פי רוב בעונת האביב, אבל השטח מראה שבכל מה שקשור לקסם הוויזואלי האופטימי של פרחים ושושנים תלת ממדיים, אין באמת חוקים.

את הזרעים למגמה שתלו מפורסמות רבות: זואי קרביץ, היילי ביבר ורוזי הנטינגטון וויטלי עשו זאת בסן לורן, סידני סוויני בג'יאמבטיסטה ואלי, אך המעצבת שמזוהה ביותר עם המגמה היא ללא ספק מגדה בוטרים.

כמי ששמה דגש מתמשך על מלאכות יד מסורתיות של אמנים מקומיים מפולין, בוטרים חוזרת ומשלבת בעיצוביה תפרחות ורדים שונות בעבודת יד, ואלה הפכו לסימן ההיכר שלה. רשימת המפורסמות שאימצו את בגדי הים, השמלות ואת נעלי הפרחים שלה ארוכה במיוחד, והיא כוללת שמות כמו ג'ניפר לופז, ריהאנה, ריטה אורה ועוד.

גם במחוזותינו הסלבס התאהבו בפרחוניות המתפרצת. לא מזמן ראינו את יעל שלביה בשמלת סטרפלס ורדרדה מעוטרת פרחים של בוטרים, ואת דיאן שוורץ בשמלה ורודה של פז אבוקסיס שמתכתבת בדיוק עם הז'אנר.

האלמנטים הפרחוניים המתפרצים לא מאפיינים רק שמלות ערב סקסיות וגלאמיות, וניתן לשלוט במידת הדרמה שהם מספקים בקלות רבה. אפשר למצוא צ'וקרים פרחוניים וסיכות פרח א-לה קארי בראדשו באסוס ובזארה, ועיטורי פרחים בולטים אך עדינים יותר בפריטים יומיומיים ברשתות כמו Other Stories&.
