שנות התשעים לא מפסיקות להעניק לנו טרנדים. למרות שהרוחות בעולם האופנה דווקא מבשרות על חזרה לאייטיז, למציאות ולמה שקורה בשטח יש מחשבות אחרות.

נראה שהבלוגרים וחובבי האופנה לא סיימו להתעסק בעשור ההוא ולנתח את סוד קסמו המיוחד. להפך. עם הזמן רק מעמיקה האובססיה.

חשבון אינסטגרם אהוב ומוערך ממצה את הנושא הזה ומתעל אותו לטובת תמונות מדויקות שמראות שיש עוד מה לגנוב מהעשור שהצליח לשלב באופן מופתי בין גראנג' זרוק ולא חפוף לבין פופ פלסטיקי ומסטיקי.

אז נכון, הגומיות מכוסות הקטיפה כבר איתנו, וגם הפאוצ'ים קמו לתחיה, אבל בחשבון 90sanxiety אפשר להיכנס עמוק יותר ולשאול ברצינות תהומית: האם הגיע הזמן להחזיר את התוחמים הכהים לשפתיים וחולצות הילדים חושפות הבטן? ומה עם רצועות החזיה השקופות?

347 אלף איש כבר עוקבים אחרי אסופת התמונות הנוסטלגית של החשבון, ששווה גם לבדוק בו את סעיף ה"היילייטס". אפשר למצוא בחשבון כמה כוכבים וכוכבות מרכזיים. ראשית, הסופרמודלס של הניינטיז: קייט ונעמי, לינדה וסינדי וגם קרלה ברוני, שמראות שמחוץ למסלול הסטייל שלהן היה לא פחות שווה מאיך שהלבישו אותן מקצועית.

ג'ניפר אניסטון גם היא מככבת, לצד בראד כמובן, ומתעוררים געגועים רבים גם לווינונה ריידר, בריטני ספירס, ריבר פניקס, הנסיכה דיאנה, סלמה הייאק, ג'ניפר לאב יואיט, גווינית' פאלטרו ודרו ברימור.

נעים לגלות שבימים שלפני העידן בו כל סלב החזיק סטייליסט צמוד, המפורסמים הצליחו להתלבש לגמרי לבד, ויצרו סטייטמנטים אופנתיים שמעוררים געגועים והשראה (תלוי בגילו של הצופה).

לא ברור מה יש באסופת התמונות האלו שמעורר כל כך הרבה גלים של רגש ואהבה, וגם כתבות מסקרות ואוהדות בכל רחבי העולם. אולי זה הגלאם שבפשטות הלא מעובדת של אז, בניגוד לתמונות שאנחנו רגילים לראות היום, לפני הסלפי והפילטרים. פעם, הרבה לפני שהקרדשיאנס לימדו אותנו מה זה קונטורינג, הדברים נראו אחרת, ולא פחות טוב מעכשיו.
